This was a fun way to kick off the new year!

The commission was for a friend in dire need of a “pick-me-up.” It’s 11″ x 17″ pencils on bristol board.

Apparently, he has a thing for ninjas, and since I haven’t been on a ninja kick since the 8th grade, I was more than happy to oblige.

Game geeks can find some nods to classic Ninja Gaiden and Strider in the character designs.
