So the missus and I had the chance to escape to see The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses this weekend.

Needless to say, it was an AWE-INSPIRING experience. Getting to see an orchestra perform songs from a game series that pretty much defined one’s childhood is pretty damn amazing. I gotta’ admit, I was pretty choked up hearing the hero’s theme and the entire movement dedicated to “A Link to the Past” on the SNES. (I think I beat that game 30+ times, and could easily pick it up again even now…)

While waiting for the performance to start, I thought I’d kick out a sketch on the iPad, since I’m having so much fun trying out coloring in Sketchbook Pro.
